Meagan holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour, as well as a Master of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University. Meagan utilizes her educational background and experience in research to take an approach that is trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based. Meagan draws on a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Psychodynamic Therapy.

 

Meagan specializes in adult and adolescent mental health, with a special emphasis on women’s health-related concerns, having experience in a variety of healthcare settings, helping individuals navigate different stages of reproductive health. Meagan's areas of focus include anxiety, trauma, mood, relationship issues, life transitions, workplace stress, sleep difficulties, and pregnancy and postpartum-related challenges.
