Nicole is a warm and thoughtful therapist who brings a deep sense of compassion, humility, and presence to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Guelph and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is completing her internship at The Story Isn’t Over.
For Nicole, psychotherapy is more than a profession—it is a calling shaped by her life experiences, including living in three different countries and coping with the loss of loved ones. These experiences have nurtured her empathy and strengthened her belief in meeting each client with respect, openness, and care. She is dedicated to creating a space where clients feel safe to share, explore, and grow.
Nicole takes a person-centered and holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit. She is trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and thoughtfully integrates techniques from Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into her practice. Her approach is collaborative and flexible, shaped by the unique needs, values, and goals of each client.
Nicole believes in each person’s potential for change and self-understanding. She is passionate about helping her clients realize the influence they have over their own lives and guiding them toward greater self-awareness, healing, and a more fulfilling life.
Outside of her therapeutic work, Nicole enjoys working out, travelling, and practicing karate. Her martial arts practice deepens her connection to the mind-body-spirit relationship and supports her commitment to balance, mindfulness, and well-being—values she brings into every session.
