About

Archana

Archana is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, equipping her with the knowledge and tools to support clients on their journey to well-being.

Archana provides a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their struggles at their own pace. Whether her clients have clear goals or are still discovering their path, Archana works collaboratively to help them navigate challenges and create meaningful change. She believes that therapy is a journey of growth, healing, and self-discovery, uniquely tailored to the needs of each person.

Archana’s approach is person-centered and versatile, drawing on evidence-based therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She customizes her methods to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring therapy is both effective and relevant.

Archana works with teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. She also has significant experience working with children and teens diagnosed with autism and special needs, helping both individuals and their families create supportive and nurturing environments.

As a first-generation Canadian from a minority background, Archana brings a multicultural perspective to her work. She values cultural sensitivity and celebrates the diversity of her clients’ experiences, offering strength-based and goal-oriented therapy that respects their individuality. Archana is passionate about empowering clients to overcome obstacles and build resilience, equipping them with tools to thrive in the long term. Archana speaks English, Hindi and Kannada.

When not in the office, Archana loves to unwind with her family and friends, cook up delicious Indian dishes, and challenge herself with board games. And if she’s not busy doing that, you’ll find her catching the latest movie on Netflix, popcorn in hand, of course!
