About

Julia

Hello, my name is Julia Gargarella. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with over five years of experience supporting children (ages 9+), teens, young adults, and adults through a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges.

My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and thoughtfully integrates talk therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) techniques. I take a client-centered, collaborative approach—tailoring each session to your individual needs and goals.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, as well as those navigating challenges related to:

  • Emotional regulation
  • Low self-esteem
  • Stress and burnout
  • Life transitions
  • Relationship difficulties

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of your next step, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and grow. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface, learn tools for managing difficult thoughts and emotions, and work toward creating meaningful and sustainable change.

I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and down-to-earth environment where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered. My role is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you at your pace—offering guidance, insight, and compassionate challenges as needed.

I currently offer [virtual and/or in-person sessions on Saturdays and Virtual appointments on Mondays], and I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing and growth, I’m here to support you.
