About

Keeley

Keeley is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at The Story Isn’t Over who approaches her work with deep empathy, respect, and a strong sense of curiosity. Grounded in a client-centered philosophy, Keeley views each person as the expert in their own life. She sees therapy as a collaborative process, one that supports rather than directs. Helping clients uncover insight, build resilience, and move toward meaningful personal growth.

Keeley holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Guelph-Humber and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With a strong academic foundation and a passion for lifelong learning, Keeley draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Her work is informed by an integrative lens, incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and client-centered approaches. She tailors each session to reflect each client’s unique needs, values, and lived experiences.

Keeley has a particular interest in working with adults and young adults as they navigate complex life transitions, identity exploration, shifting relationships, academic or career pressures, and personal growth. She has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm, offering a supportive space to explore challenges and build effective coping strategies.

Above all, Keeley strives to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming therapeutic environment where individuals of all backgrounds feel welcome. She honors the vulnerability it takes to seek support and is committed to building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, openness, and collaboration, walking alongside each client at their own pace and on their own terms.
