Keeley is an Intern at The Story Isn’t Over and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who approaches her work with deep empathy, respect, and a strong sense of curiosity. Grounded in a client-centered philosophy, Keeley views each person as the expert in their own life. She sees therapy as a collaborative process—one that supports rather than directs—helping clients uncover insight, build resilience, and move toward meaningful personal growth.
Keeley holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Guelph-Humber and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With a strong academic foundation and a passion for lifelong learning, Keeley draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Her work is informed by an eclectic lens, integrating strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, mindfulness, and emotion-focused techniques, always centering the client’s unique needs and lived experience.
Keeley has a particular interest in working with teens and young adults as they navigate the formative and often complex challenges of growing up. Whether facing academic pressure, identity exploration, shifting family dynamics, or major life transitions, Keeley offers a space where young people can feel seen, heard, and supported as their authentic selves. She is experienced in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm.
Above all, Keeley strives to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment where individuals of all backgrounds feel welcome. She honors the vulnerability it takes to seek support and is committed to building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, openness, and shared understanding—walking alongside each client at their own pace and on their own terms.
